This is the heart of the Norfolk Broads, Great Britain’s foremost wetlands. Within this compact area are over 200-miles of navigable waterways, and it very easy to hire boats by the day, or week. Don’t let inexperience put you off, many vessels are suitable for complete novices, and there are bridge pilots stationed at Potter Heigham to help you pass under the notoriously tricky bridge. Cruising the Broads is a wonderfully relaxing past time; try and go in June before the rush of the school holidays.
