Shaftesbury & Warminster Travel Guide

The gorgeous rolling countryside around the Wiltshire – Dorset border is peppered with things to see and do. There are plenty of Iron Age earthworks, the most impressive being Battlesbury Camp, near Warminster; National Trust owned Stourhead features one of the finest examples of 18th century landscaping; and Longleat House & Safari Park is one of the country’s best loved attractions. This corner of England is quite unspoilt, and activity lovers are encouraged to get amongst it either on foot or bike.
